Western Washington University employees who travel by some means other than driving alone may enter to win great fall prizes from Whatcom Smart Trips.

Smart Trips is teaming up with Western and other local employers to promote walking, bicycling, sharing rides and riding the bus.

All employees need to do is make two smart trips as a Western employee between Sept. 14 and 27 (for any purpose, not just work trips) and record them at .

Doing this automatically enters employees to win some amazing local prizes. On campus, Western’s College of Fine and Performing Arts donated tickets to a performance in the Sanford Hill Piano Series and to the productions of “Streamers” and “A Piece of My Heart.”Many other prizes are available; .
