Student Technology Fee – Call for Employee Abstracts schustk Tue, 11/19/2019 - 12:15pm

The Student Technology Fee (STF) Committee is accepting Tech Initiatives abstracts for the current academic year. All Western employees and students may apply.

Abstracts from employees are due January 15.

Tech Initiatives make up 12.43 percent of the Student Technology Fee, or approximately $193,220 in AY 2020.

The Tech Initiatives portion of the fee pays for technology projects—proposed by employees and students—that support the Student Technology Fee mission.

The STF mission:

The Student Technology Fee provides Western students with adequate and innovative technology experiences by:

- Broadening/enhancing the quality of the academic experience,
- Providing additional student access to technology, and
- Increasing integration of technology into the curriculum.
