The competition included four segments: Prepared speech, cultural Q&amp;A, talent performance, and a written exam.</p><p>In the competition, Hessari showcased her fluency in Mandarin and Chinese culture through a speech themed 鈥淐hinese as a Bridge to the World,鈥� nuanced interpretations of Chinese idioms, and a performance of a classical Chinese dance. Hessari also received the highest overall score on the written exam.</p><p>鈥淟earning Chinese has opened a new world for me,鈥� Hessari said. 鈥淚 look forward to representing the U.S. this summer in China and further deepening my understanding of Chinese culture. The competition included four segments: Prepared speech, cultural Q&amp;A, talent performance, and a written exam.</p><p>In the competition, Hessari showcased her fluency in Mandarin and Chinese culture through a speech themed 鈥淐hinese as a Bridge to the World,鈥� nuanced interpretations of Chinese idioms, and a performance of a classical Chinese dance. The competition included four segments: Prepared speech, cultural Q&amp;A, talent performance, and a written exam.</p><p>In the competition, Hessari showcased her fluency in Mandarin and Chinese culture through a speech themed 鈥淐hinese as a Bridge to the World,鈥� nuanced interpretations of Chinese idioms, and a performance of a classical Chinese dance. Hessari also received the highest overall score on the written exam.</p><p>鈥淟earning Chinese has opened a new world for me,鈥� Hessari said. 鈥淚 look forward to representing the U.S. this summer in China and further deepening my understanding of Chinese culture.
