The culture of deafness is subject of April 20 luncheon
James Christianson of the Bellingham Hearing Center will speak on the culture of deafness and demonstrate sign language at a noon presentation April 20 at Northwood Hall in Bellingham.
The event, put on by the Western Washington University Retirement Association, costs $15 for members and $18 for guests. Pre-registration is required by April 16; checks should be mailed to Barbara Evans at 622 Everglade Road, Bellingham 98225.
The social hour begins at 11:30 a.m., with lunch at noon.
