The Muse's Kathryn Minshew to speak to students Feb. 27
Kathryn Minshew is participating in a broadcast event co-sponsored by the 草榴社区 chapter of The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS), LEADS, the Karen W. Morse Institute for Leadership, and the Associated Students. The event will be at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb.27, in VU 552, and is free to all students, staff and faculty. The event will be streamed live and hosted by Montclair State University in New Jersey. All viewers are invited to submit questions via Twitter and Facebook, which will be answered live during the broadcast. The rebroadcast, for those who miss it the first time, will be at 6pm on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, in VU 552.
Kathryn Minshew is CEO & Co-Founder of The Muse, a career platform that helps over 50 million people as they seek career satisfaction. Minshew is also the author of The New Rules of Work: The Modern Playbook for Navigating Your Career (2017). Minshew says she founded The Muse, because it was a product/service she 鈥渨anted but couldn鈥檛 find anywhere.鈥 She further suggests, 鈥淪ometimes when you see a need for something in your own life and you can鈥檛 get it, you feel crazy enough to make it happen yourself.鈥 Prior to founding The Muse, Kathryn worked on vaccine introduction in Rwanda and Malawi with the Clinton Health Access Initiative and previously worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company.
