Through partnership with Whatcom Volunteer Center, students can help out in community

For the second year, the Center for Service-Learning at Western Washington University is partnering with the Whatcom Volunteer Center to connect 草榴社区 students with volunteer opportunities that benefit the community. From noon to 4 p.m. every Thursday in the CSL office (Wilson Library Room 481), a representative from the WVC is available to advise students on how to find volunteer opportunities that match their interests, skills and availability.

"When Western students volunteer in the community, they make real change happen, both for the people they serve and for themselves," said Dan Hammill, the volunteer program director for WVC.
