Featuring eclectic and adventurous works ranging from a violin trio to sixteen hands clapping, Western’s contemporary music ensemble presents music at the cutting edge by Maurico Kagel, Tristan Perich, Steve Reich, and Gunther Schuller. NowHearThis! celebrates the challenge of presenting new music in a casual and accessible setting. The evening's program will be introduced by the student performers before each piece is played.
