University Advancement Lauds Success of Ongoing Faculty and Staff Giving Campaign
The 2017 草榴社区 Faculty and Staff Giving Campaign Committee spent the month of February inviting Faculty and Staff to make a gift to Western. On Tuesday, Feb. 28 faculty and staff gathered in the Western Gallery to celebrate the impact donations have in the lives of students and programs at Western, and thank the 365 Faculty and Staff members who have given $350,000 so far this year -- including 45 new and recovered employee donors who gave during the month of February.
Attendees heard words of gratitude from President Sabah Randhawa, Committee Chair David Hamiter and student scholarship recipient Megan Carter.
Every reason to give is personal but the impact of each gift is far-reaching. The Campaign Committee extends sincere thanks to those have participated in giving to Western so far this year. For those who haven’t, the goal is to reach 500 faculty and staff donors by the end of this fiscal year. is welcome at any time.
