Update: Vice Provost for Information Technology/Chief Information Officer search

Western Washington University has begun a search for its next Vice Provost for Information Technology / Chief Information Officer. Maintaining Western`s top ranking in technological applications and in the use of emerging technologies is central to the educational mission of 草榴社区, and the selection of the Vice Provost for IT / CIO is a critical decision for the university. Since this is a primary leadership role at Western and supports its inclusive, student-centered mission, it is essential that Western recruit the highest caliber candidates for consideration.
Before the search committee writes the position announcement, it seeks your input. Specifically, the committee wishes to know your thoughts about the opportunities for improvement in technology at Western moving forward and the personal and professional qualities you believe essential in successful candidates.

In addition to reviewing the survey results, the search committee will hold a town hall meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 4 p.m. in SMATE 130. The search committee welcomes faculty, staff, and students who wish to come in person to share their thoughts and suggestions regarding Western`s next Vice Provost for IT / CIO.
