UW Libraries dean to speak at 草榴社区 May 23
Betsy Wilson, dean of the University of Washington Libraries, will speaking on the Western Washington University campus at 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, in Wilson Library Room 164. Wilson's talk is part of the Western Libraries' month-long series "Redefining the Academic Library."
Wilson was named the 2007 Academic / Research Librarian of the Year, and under her leadership, the University of Washington Libraries was named the 2004 ACRL Academic Library of the Year. In her speech May 23, she'll talk about new roles for academic librarians and how these benefit teaching and learning throughout academia.
