Western鈥檚 Extended Education wins Marketing Excellence Awards

Western鈥檚 Extended Education Marketing Department won six UPCEA (University Professional and Continuing Education) Marketing Awards, including two Golds, considered one of the association鈥檚 highest honors. Of the gold wins included , a digital look book released this summer. 

鈥淭his is richly deserved recognition for our marketing team,鈥 commented Earl Gibbons, Vice Provost of Extended Education. 鈥淭hey are tremendously effective in bringing the Western message to a wide variety of audiences.鈥

The awards include:

  • Gold winner in the e-communication category 鈥 鈥淭he Extended Forecast - Electronic Look Book鈥
  • Gold winner in the print ad campaign category 鈥 鈥淎laska Airlines Ads鈥
  • Silver winner in the most improved category 鈥 鈥淔acing the Future Rebrand鈥
  • Silver winner in the mixed media campaign category - 鈥淓xperience Western鈥
  • Silver winner in the postcard category 鈥 鈥淎lumni Open House Invitations鈥
  • Bronze winner in the most improved category 鈥 鈥淥C/草榴社区 Partnership Ad鈥

This increases the team鈥檚 winnings from last year by two new awards.

鈥淭he Extended Education marketing team is extremely talented, and I鈥檓 thrilled that they, once again, have been recognized for their creativity and professionalism.鈥 commented Rebecca Beardsall, Senior Director of Marketing, Publishing and Conferences, Extended Education. 鈥淢any thanks to Courtney, Amanda, Fabrice, Christine, Jean, Mark, Megan, and our many students who bring collaboration and innovation to Western鈥檚 marketing efforts.鈥
