Western to Host Poulsbo Lecture on Women in History March 10
Western Washington University on the Peninsulas’ Western Lecture Series will host will host Erin Douglas in a free lecture titled “”at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10 in Olympic College Poulsbo room 219.
Douglas will share examples of women’s influences on history, culture, literature, science and more with a discussion on Gender Studies and its pivotal role in exploring women’s accomplishments. A visiting professor from Miami University, Douglas has a background in 20th-century British literature and studies related to media, gender and sexuality.
The Western Lecture Series offers new lectures on educational topics each quarter, and each lecture is open to the public.
