Western to Offer ‘Real Simple Project Management’ Course to the Community This Winter

Western Washington University’s Extended Education will offer Real Simple Project Management to faculty, staff, students, and the community beginning Thursday, Jan. 22.

Designed to ease anxiety and stress, participants will explore the fundamentals of the Real Simple Project Management approach to aid in reducing the complexity of professional projects while at the same time increasing results.

Information sessions will be held at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7 at Village Books and 5:30 p.m. Monday, Jan.12 in Western Washington University’s Communications Facility room 316.

The Real Simple Project Management course applies to all industries. Examples of the types of projects where participants use the Real Simple Project Management approach include:

  • Managing personal workflow

  • Developing a new version of a corporate website

  • Organizing the hiring process for new employees

  • Developing an annual report or event

  • Conducting a business-research project
