Western Washington University’s Extended Education will offer two Professional Editing courses this winter, “Editing Visual Components” and “Grammar for Editors,” to faculty, staff, students, and the community this winter.

Participants of will learn how to implement visual design to their work, including the incorporation of photographs, illustrations, infographics, and typography. The nine-week course will be held on Thursdays from 7-9 p.m. beginning Jan. 8.

Participants of will receive an intensive review of the most common grammatical errors found in writing while learning how to correct the work of authors and other writers. The nine-week course will be held on Tuesdays from 7-8:30 p.m. beginning Jan. 13.
