Western Washington University Announces Winter Youth Programs in Bellingham and Anacortes

Registration is now open for Western Washington University's 2020 winter Youth Programs in Bellingham and Anacortes, with topics from snow science to video game design. 

The following programs are offered this winter in Bellingham:

Grades K-5

Jan. 24: Everything Engineering

Feb. 21: What鈥檚 Inside the Human Body?

 

Grades 3-8

Jan. 31: Winter Wonderland

 

Grades 6-8

Feb. 1, 8, 22, 29; Mar. 7, 14, 21, 28 (no class Feb. 15): Video Game Design with Scratch

 

All ages

Feb. 29

Enjoy this free, family-friendly event that welcomes individuals and groups from across Western Washington University and local Bellingham communities who are engaged in STEM research and fields. Children learn about careers in STEM, enjoy demonstrations and presentations, and participate in STEM programs.

 

The following programs are offered this winter in Anacortes:

Grades 3-5

Feb. 11, 12, 13: Marine Science

 

Grades K-5

Mar. 13: Marine Science

 

Early bird registration is offered for selected programs. Western faculty and staff are also eligible for discounts on selected programs.

Additionally, is available for GEMS Night Out in Bellingham, as well as both offerings in Anacortes. Please apply for assistance before registering for your chosen program(s).
