Whatcom Volunteer Center now has on-campus office hours
The Center for Service-Learning at Western Washington University is now partnering with the Whatcom Volunteer Center to connect students with service opportunities in the Bellingham community. Every Thursday at the Center for Service-Learning, a representative from WVC is available to help students sign up for community service projects.
This is a wonderful chance for students to discover volunteer opportunities that will enrich their academic learning and provide career and networking experience. Students can find volunteer, internship and service-learning opportunities in the areas of homelessness, environmentalism, women’s issues, mentoring and more.
Students can stop by the Center for Service-Learning in Wilson Library Room 481 from noon to 4 p.m. Thursdays to visit with a WVC representative.
