Do you work with an outstanding colleague at Western Washington University? The  provides the opportunity for faculty and staff to recognize the great efforts of others on campus.

Any time throughout the year, folks in the ²ÝÁñÉçÇø community can  to recognize a Western employee who demonstrates excellence in serving students, visitors or colleagues, based on the characteristics that make them uniquely Western: inviting, engaging, distinctive, collaborative and adventurous.

Western Way honorees are recognized online on the Western Way Wall of Acknowledgment, in Western Today and in a slideshow at the Employee Recognition Ceremony in April.

Recently recognized was Carola Williams, program coordinator of the RN-to-BSN program. Her name was submitted by Jacob Kinser, a program coordinator with Disability Resources for Students:

"Carola is really what we should strive to be at ²ÝÁñÉçÇø. If there is ever a problem that she can assist me solving she always steps up. Having worked with her in a variety of projects, she has always approached events and tasks with a positive attitude, and a willingness to make your workload lighter. I believe that the BSN program would not be near the success if it were not for her guiding light."
