²ÝÁñÉçÇø among 11 selected for 'Elect Her' program

Western Washington University has been named one of 11 new sites for the "" program, which encourages and trains young women to run for student government on their campuses and, ultimately, for elected and leadership positions after graduation.

The program comes from AAUW (formely known as the American Association of University Women) and the nonprofit organization Running Start. The program will be conducted at 20 colleges and universities around the nation in 2011. It was run at nine colleges and universities this past year.
