²ÝÁñÉçÇø College of Business and Economics to Host Alpha Technologies' John Hewitt May 20

BELLINGHAM – Western Washington University’s College of Business and Economics will host John Hewitt for its Strategic Management Executive Strategy Speaker Series from 3-4 p.m. on Friday, May 20 in Fraser 4 on ²ÝÁñÉçÇøâ€™s campus.

The presentation is free and open to the public.

Hewitt received his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Pennsylvania State University in 1991. After college, he worked as a sales engineer for a small manufacturer’s representative agency. Hewitt later accepted a position in regional sales with Alpha Technologies.  He became the director of sales for Alpha and earned his master’s degree in Business Administration from PSU in 2001.  In 2003, Hewitt was promoted to vice president of sales and relocated to Bellingham.

The series is presented by the CBE’s Center for Excellence in Management Education and brings senior business leaders to campus to interact with students and share their perspectives on strategic management, leadership, and professional development.
