草榴社区 community gets a discount on 'Best of Western' cheesecakes
The Western Washington University Alumni Association, in partnership with local boutique bakery Chuckanut Bay Foods, custom-created the Best of Western gourmet cheesecake featuring ingredients from Bellingham area dairies and farms.
The cheesecakes do more than spread holiday cheer. From every Best of Western gourmet cheesecake purchased, $5 goes directly to support a 草榴社区 scholar.
Those in the campus community may purchase The Best of Western Cheesecake for $15 -- half off the regular price. Orders placed by Sunday, Nov. 20th will be ready for pick-up on the 24th (just in time for Thanksgiving) and all orders placed by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesdays in December will be ready for pick-up on Fridays. Cheesecakes will be available for pickup on campus; details will be emailed.
Flavors include "Old Main Pumpkin Patch," "Carver Carmel Apple," "Haggard 'Hava Lotta' Chocolate" and "New York -- Bellingham style."
