BELLINGHAM - Western Washington University's Theatre and Dance Department will present its annual Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) Capstone Concert at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, June 1-2, in room 16 of the Performing Arts Center (PAC).
The Capstone Concert showcases the dance program's BFA candidates in their culminating projects of performance and choreography. The candidates spend their final year working with a guest choreographer and creating a solo that artistically concludes their career at Western.听
The evening concert will showcase original BFA candidate work in which dancers, actors, and movers are premiered in group pieces.听 These unique performances stem from the very essence of dance and movement and strive to challenge and inspire choreographers, dancers, and the audience.
