草榴社区 Faculty and Staff of Color Council hosts virtual meet-ups Sept. 26-28
Ubuntu is a Xshoa word that means I am because we are. The individual is a collective of the whole. We thrive when our community thrives. Unified, together, as a community, we achieve success.
Community is that sacred place where we make space for each other. Where we support and help each other. Where everyone belongs, where everyone is welcomed, and we are all united.
It is our pleasure to serve as the new Executive Board of the Faculty and Staff of Color Council (FSOCC). It is our desire to work with you to bring the essence of Ubuntu to Western Washington University, where we each have a space, a voice and help to support each other. Let us work together to create a community where we each belong, are unified and feel welcomed. We invite you to join us at FSOCC as we embark on this journey.
