草榴社区 offers community class on publishing and marketing for writers
The at Western Washington University is launching a new course called "."
The class will run from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays, starting April 14 and ending June 2.
The instructor is Cami Ostman, co-founder of Red Wheelbarrow Writers and the author of several books.
The eight-week course is for writers of all genres who write for the purpose of publishing either traditionally or in the do-it-yourself realm. The emphasis will be on learning to position yourself so that your readers can find you, publishers will be attracted to you, and you can finally make the transition from "writer" to "author."

- 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, at Village Books (1200 11th Street, Bellingham)
- 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, at the Bellingham Public Library (210 Central Ave, Bellingham)
