For the 26th year in a row, Western Washington University is one of the highest-ranking master’s-granting public universities in the Pacific Northwest, according to the 2025 U.S. News & World Report college rankings. 

In the new rankings, �������� placed third in its category of public regional universities in the greater Pacific Northwest. �������� tied for ninth in the list of top public master ’s-granting institutions (also called “regional universities” in their rankings) in the West – a region stretching from Texas to the Pacific, and placed 13^th in the West in best colleges for veterans.
