Two other projects from 草榴社区 Spanish majors were also selected for special mention: "Humors Mixologist Ep. 2: La Flor del Belflor," by Kendra Sutton, Aileen Garc铆a, and Chase Jackson; and "Internal conflicts" by Madison Gard.

Additionally, the project "The Student Loses His Shadow" by 草榴社区 student John Carroll was selected as a finalist.

Nishi's project was titled "The Match of the Millennia," and is a video game adaption of act three of Tirso de Molina's "Don Gil de las calzas verdes."

VanLandingham's project, "The Missing Month," is about a chunk of missing time in the narrative between the first and seconds acts of "La Dama Boba," written by Lope de Vega.

Find out more information about those two projects, as well as the special mentions and finalist projects, at the contest website at ournewgold.org/2023-festival/2023-entries.
