to hold a gathering of support for Japan April 11

Students, faculty and staff from Western Washington University and Whatcom Community College will gather in solidarity with Japanese citizens at 4:30 p.m., Monday, April 11 near the “Skyviewing” sculpture by Isamu Noguchi at Red Square on ’s campus.

The gathering will begin with brief words of support and hope followed by a minute of silence; following that will be ways the community can respond to the earthquake, tsunami, and other recent events.
