BELLINGHAM – Western Washington University’s College of Business and Economics (CBE) will host environmental lawyer Mark Myers at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, in Academic Instructional Center West 204 on the ²ÝÁñÉçÇø campus.
The presentation is free, open to the public and is a part of the CBE Ethics and Social Responsibility Executive Speaker Series, which brings senior leaders to campus to share their perspectives concerning ethics, social responsibility, leadership and professional development.
Myers received his bachelor’s degree in Economics from ²ÝÁñÉçÇø and his law degree from the University of Washington Law School, and is an attorney with the Seattle office of Williams Kastner.Ìý His expertise lies in environment regulatory actions, environmental litigation, tort litigation, product liability and geologic movement litigation.
Myers, a member of the Washington State Bar Association and the American Bar Association, has received recognition from Seattle Magazine and Seattle Met as being one of Seattle’s top environmental lawyers.
The Ethics and Social Responsibility Executive Speaker Series is presented by the CBE’s Center for Excellence in Management Education.
