Job seekers looking for ways to connect directly with employers are invited to attend Western Washington University’s Winter Career Fair, which will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6 in the Wade King Student Recreation Center MAC Gym. Admission to the fair is free to job seekers and open to the public.  

Sponsored by Western’s Career Services Center , the Winter Career Fair is a major recruiting event that allows students and the general public to meet with hiring managers from over 30 organizations, including private-sector companies, non-profits and government agencies. The fair features a STEM section to highlight opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math. Participating employers include: Accenture, Altasciences, Exotic Metals Forming Company, Fast Enterprises, iD Tech Camps, Port of Seattle, Progressive, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, ScribeAmerica, Seattle Genetics, and many more! 

This event provides valuable opportunities for students and alumni of all majors to discuss internship and employment possibilities with participating organizations.  For those who may be uncertain about their career goals or options, the Winter Career Fair is an excellent resource for learning about available opportunities and companies.    

To make the most of the Winter Career Fair experience, job seekers should research participating organizations in advance, dress in professional attire and bring resumes.
