Youth Programs to Host Kids Night Out @ Western Starting Oct. 16
Students in grades 1-5 can enjoy an evening of hands-on science activities at Kids Night Out @ Western (KNOW) Fridays Oct. 16, Jan. 22 and April 15.
Each session is scheduled from 7-10 p.m. and includes an exploration of a specific science topic followed by an optional hour of pool time.
Sessions range from “Could It Be Magic? (Reactions)” on Oct. 16 to “Can You See What I See? (Optical Illusions)” on Jan. 22 and “Movie Magic” (Film Effects) on April 15.

The cost is $20 for the academic session or $25 for the academic session and swim time. Students should bring a backpack, including a swimsuit and towel, a nutritious snack and, of course, a hunger to learn.
