²ÝÁñÉçÇø Youth Programs to Host ‘Ms. Mars’ GEMS Night Out on Feb. 26

Western Washington University Youth Programs will host a Girls in Engineering, Math and Science (GEMS) Night Out from 7-9:45 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 26 at Western’s Science Resource Center.

Students can also enjoy an hour of swimming at Western’s Wade King Student Recreation Center.

Designed for girls in grades 3-8 to provide a safe and empowering environment to explore STEM fields, GEMS Night Out provides an opportunity for hands-on learning in an inspiring environment. In this session, students will explore the topic of astronomy through the theme “Ms. Mars.”

To participate in GEMS Night Out, a fee of $25 must be paid per student.

Students are asked to bring a jacket, water bottle, snack, paper, pencils, a swimsuit and towel, and a curious mind.
