's Small Business Development Center to Co-Host 'Hot100BizBook Club' at Fairhaven Public Library Oct. 26

BELLINGHAM – Western Washington University’s Small Business Development Center will co-host the “Hot100BizBook Club” from 10 a.m.-noon on Wednesday, Oct. 26 in the Fireside Room of the Fairhaven Branch of the Bellingham Public Library.
The book club is a free event with a goal of getting attendees ideas and advice from popular business books and coming away with at least one solid idea to increase your business’s revenues or profits by at least $100,000.
The featured book at this meeting is “The Ultimate Question: Driving Good Profits and True Growth,” by Fred Reichheld. Loyalty expert Fred Reichheld shows how companies can rigorously measure Net Promoter statistics, help managers learn to improve them, and create communities of passionate advocates that stimulate innovation. Stories of leading-edge organizations, including GE, Intuit, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and HomeBanc, illustrate how the ideas work in practice. For more information, please visit .
Jennifer Shelton, Small Business Development Center director, will facilitate the event. The SBDC is a partnership of , Washington State University and the U.S. Small Business Administration, and provides no-fee technical assistance and business advising to local business owners/managers to assist them with their growth and development goals.
The Hot100BizBook Club will meet once a quarter in 2012. The event is co-sponsored by Hot100Business, NW Business Development, ’s Small Business Development Center, Bellingham Public Library, Clique Studios and Village Books.
