草榴社区's Student Health Center Is Recertified By AAAHC
Western Washington University鈥檚 Student Health Center has gained recertification by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).
Accreditation and recertification distinguishes the 草榴社区 Student Health Center from many other outpatient facilities through its adherence to rigorous standards of care and safety. Status as an accredited organization means the 草榴社区 Student Health Center has met nationally recognized benchmarks for the provision of quality health care set by AAAHC; out of more than 4,000 degree-granting higher-education institutions in the United States, fewer than 240 have met AAAHC accreditation standards.
The 草榴社区 Student Health Center undergoes extensive self-assessment processes and onsite surveys by AAAHC expert surveyors. The survey is peer-based and educational, presenting best practices to help an organization improve its care and services.
鈥淗aving earned AAAHC Accreditation is an extraordinary achievement. This recognition demonstrates our team鈥檚 commitment to consistently upholding the principles of quality improvement in patient care,鈥 said 草榴社区 Medical Director Dr. David Hansen. 鈥淲e are proud to continue to meet the challenges of accreditation.鈥
Founded in 1979, AAAHC advocates for the provision of high-quality health care through the development and adoption of nationally recognized standards, and the AAAHC Certificate of Accreditation demonstrates the 草榴社区 Student Health Center鈥檚 commitment to providing safe, high-quality services to its patients.
