If you look in the windows of the YWCA ballroom on Sept. 26 at 11 a.m. you will see me doing what I love to do: teaching a dance class. This class is not my usual ballet or modern dance class for students at Western. Rather, this dance class is for people with movement and neurological disorders鈥

Alice Clark has a personal history as intriguing as any film plot.

Born to a veterinarian father and homemaker in St. Louis, her first job was helping her dad with the animals.鈥

Six faculty receive university awards
草榴社区 selects interim dean for performing arts college

Christopher 鈥淜it鈥 Spicer has been appointed to serve a one-year term as interim dean of Western Washington University鈥檚 College of Fine and Performing Arts starting Aug. 1, according to an announcement from 草榴社区 Provost Catherine Riordan.
Spicer will succeed Dan Guyette, who resigned the鈥

Symphony violinist Grant Donnellan continues his mother's musical legacy

Ferndale native Grant Donnellan, following in the musical footsteps of his mother, violinist Joanne Donnellan, picked up the violin at age 4 and hasn't put it down since.

Like his mom was, he is currently concertmaster of Whatcom Symphony Orchestra.
