The Edmonds School District Board of Directors has named Kris McDuffy as the next superintendent of the Edmonds School District after a thorough search that involved parents, staff, students and community over the last three months.

La Conner School District Superintendent Tim Bruce, who announced his resignation Feb. 22, will remain involved in education.
