The four women of Motherlode - Janet Peterson, Nan Collie, Marie Eaton and Kathleen Fallon - met in 1980 at the Puget Sound Guitar Workshop and have been making music together ever since. They perform original songs based on their life experiences of relationships, motherhood, political activism鈥

Folk singer Marie Eaton's concert Feb. 27 expands into a gig with friends

Marie Eaton, a longtime Bellingham folksinger and guitarist, will join musical friends Laura Smith, Janet Peterson, Karee Wardrop, Richard Scholtz and Chad Peterson at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, at the Roeder Home, 2600 Sunset Drive. She will perform her own songs and a couple of covers.
