Chamber names new director

Nathan Perea was named as the executive director for the Snoqualmie Valley Chamber of Commerce, and starts April 1.
The position has been open since early January, when former director Kevin Dwyer left for a job in Oregon.

Former resident named managing editor

Garrett Rudolph, formerly of Issaquah, became managing editor of The Omak-Okanogan County Chronicle on March 1.
Rudolph spent the past five years as the sports editor of the Woodburn Independent in Woodburn, Ore.

Broadway singer from Bellingham returns home for concert

Dennis Bennett wrote to tell me that his daughter, Julie Reiber, a Sehome High School and Western Washington University alumnus who has starred on Broadway and traveled the world to sing, returns home to share songs from her debut album, "Love Travels," at 7 p.m. March 29 at Firehouse鈥
