Western Washington University middle blocker Kayla Erickson has been named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Volleyball Offensive co-Player of the Week for Oct. 5-11.

Erickson, a senior from Gig Harbor, had 30 kills and hit for a .490 percentage as the Vikings swept Western Oregon鈥

Western Washington University鈥檚 Katelyn Steen has been named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Cross Country Women鈥檚 Athlete of the Week for Oct. 5-11.

Steen, a senior from Sammamish where she graduated from Eastlake High School, finished third in back of two Trinity Western runners鈥
