7 NW colleges unite to form local higher-ed coalition

Everett Community College is joining six other colleges and universities to form the Northwest Higher Education Coalition, a group working together to increase higher education opportunities in northwestern Washington.

草榴社区 trick or treat: About 150 costumed Western Washington University students will welcome trick-or-treaters to Ridgeway University Residences from 6 to 8 p.m. Community lounges will be decorated, and activities will include painting pumpkins and collecting candy.

Hundreds of local 5th graders sent to college

Hundreds of 5th graders from schools in Whatcom and Skagit Counties visited Western Washington University Tuesday.
