AS passes another resolution to ask Foundation to divest

One day after the Western Associated Students Board voted in favor of the Students for Renewable Energy鈥檚 [SRE] fossil fuel divestment resolution, a group of 20 faculty, staff and students attempted to deliver a letter to Bruce Shepard asking the university and the Western Foundation to divest鈥

Marci Shepard named new superintendent for Orting schools

Marci Shepard is the new superintendent of the Orting School District.

Shepard, who has been interim superintendent for the past two months, will now assume the title of superintendent. She will be paid a salary of $125,000, plus an additional $2,500 as a stipend since she holds a鈥
